Collaborative Family Law
Collaborative Family Law is a new way of providing you and your separating partner or spouse with the opportunity to work together to resolve the issues which inevitably arise when the decision has been made to separate or divorce.
Under Collaborative Family Law, we aim to achieve a mutually agreed solution between separating partners without involving the court.
Collaborative law is also suitable for a range of issues other than divorce or separation. This could include negotiating prenuptial agreements, child contact, financial provision for children, or property issues for example.
Who Are the Norfolk Collaborative Family Law Group?
The family lawyers in the Norfolk Collaborative Family Law Group are all members of, and have been trained in collaborative law, by Resolution. They have many years' experience advising on separation, divorce, children, financial arrangements and other legal and practical issues that can arise when family relationships break down.
The family lawyers in the Norfolk Collaborative Family Law Group are supported by independent financial advisers who have also undergone collaborative law training and are accredited by Resolution to provide advice in collaborative law cases.
There are a range of associated professionals who may become involved in the collaborative law process to assist in the successful resolution of financial, property or family issues. The Norfolk Collaborative Family Law Group has established a panel of Associated Professionals from across the region who understand and have signed up to the collaborative law ethos.
Thank you so much to both of you. You made a difficult time bearable and we can now move forward with our lives and still remain on speaking terms.
